I have read that the most important staple in a woman's ward robe is her hand bag. I would certainly agree with that!!!! Put a bounce in your step with this gorgeous stunning remarkable bag - what a fun bag to carry!!!!! Just in direct from Italy to you, authentic Marino Orlandi new without tags imported from Italy - handmade in Italy (entirely by hand I believe), shoulder / sling bag purse tote with top zip closure, high polished gold tone equistrian style hardware, expensive finished off base and "O" rings at sides for securing the strap, crisp easy care jewel tone fabric lining in a two tone black, and one red patent leather snap tab (bag came with only one snap tab and that is all that is needed but another in black or red or green, in softly or firmly glazed or patent leather could be added - instructions for positioning the strap and using snap tabs will be included). Color - a gorgeous stunning rich black with righ patent leather strap and sides and base, and red patent leather at top sides and side leather ties, and at side bases. Detailed reinforced stitching throughout - in black, red, copper, green, and on the bottom royal blue!!! This is the only bag in this design I have come across, making it very rare. Truely a work of art - I don't know how they do it. The design, colors, texture is amazing. The leather is of two textures - the body of the bag on the front and back is the softly but strucurally firm glazed leather, and the patent leather is firm. The entire bag is very structurally sound and firm and will carry softly and gently against the body. Highly polished gold tone studs and zipper pulls and has the more expensive finished off base with the sides brought up and secured with grommets. There is so much detail in this beautiful bag and it will pack a lot and is so light weight. The spacious interior houses a zip compartment on the back wall and a black leather cell phone compartment on the front wall. The leather has that distinctive smell of high quality glazed leather and finish that is unique to Marino Orlandi. "Marino Orlandi" and MADE IN ITALY" and well oversized logo are embossed on each side. "Marino Orlandi MADE IN ITALY GENUINE LEATHER" is embossed in the leather label attached to the interior.
Measurements: approximately 11 and 1/2 inches long (bag stuffed measuring across the middle from side to side at widest point), 13 and 1/4 inches tall measuring to top of zipper, and 9 inches wide. The wide detachable strap measures approximately 66 inches. Five gold tone feet to protect the base and keep the bag sitting upright. Has a beautiful drop and profile. Sits perfectly upright when empty. I believe the suggested retail price on this bag is around $550.00 or higher. One of their more expensive bags because of all the detail and fabric lining. An absolutely gorgeous one of a kind made by hand glazed leather bag that is not a trendy bag that will come and go. The color is even throughout - any variance in color is due to shadows cast by the sun, clouds, or lighting. The black is a true rich deep black - no bluish hues. The interior is their beautiful crisp jewel 2 tone black lining- the nicest of nicest in fabric linings. I will get a picture taken of the interior and post it.
