I have read that the most important staple in a woman's ward robe is her hand bag.  I would certainly agree with that!!!!  Put a bounce in your step with this gorgeous stunning remarkable bag - what a fun bag to carry!!!!!   Direct from Italy to you, authentic Marino Orlandi new with original tags (tags are inside the bag - I forgot to put them on the bag for the pictures) imported from Italy for the spring/summer 2009 season - style 2090 handmade in Italy (entirely by hand I believe), shoulder / sling bag purse tote with top zip closure, high polished gold tone equistrian style hardware and side zip compartments with north/south logo zip entry, crisp easy care jewel tone fabric lining in a splash of 6 gorgeous colors, and 2 original snap tabs.   Color - a gorgeous 2 tone - white and a light camel - a new color combination for Marino Orlandi as to me the camel is lighter in color than their other bags I've seen.   The interior is all the crisp jewel tone stripped fabric lining in the lighter of their color combinations-the side north south zip compartments are lined in both the jewel tone stripped fabric lining and faux leather lining - standard on all their size zip compartment bags in this gorgeous style - although some have been produced in all faux leather lining.  The leather is of two textures - the light camel is the thick glazed firmer leather and the white is the softer glazed leather.   The entire bag is very structurally sound and firm and will carry softly and gently against the body.  High polished gold tone studs and zipper pulls and has the more expensive finished off base with the sides brought up and secured with grommets.   There is so much detail in this beautiful bag, it will pack a lot, and the color will wear well with so many things.  Detailed reinforced stitching in 2 colors - sort of a camel and copper throughout - one a larger stich accented by a smaller stitch.   Has 5 compartments to keep you perfectly organized-there are the 2 convenient side zip entry compartments accessible from either side of the bag, and the interior houses a zip compartment on the back and a camel colored leather cell phone compartment on the front.  The leather has that distinctive smell of high quality glazed leather and finish that is unique to Marino Orlandi.  Makes the twisty sound of high quality Marino Orlandi Italian leather.   "Marino Orlandi" and MADE IN ITALY" and oversized logo are embossed on each side.  "Marino Orlandi MADE IN ITALY GENUINE LEATHER" is embossed in the leather label attached to the interior.  Instructions for positioning the strap and snap tabs will be included.    

Measurements: approximately 14 and 1/2 inches long (bag stuffed measuring across the middle from side to side at widest point), 12 and 1/4 inches tall measuring to top of zipper,  and 9 inches wide.  The wide detachable strap measures approximately 60 and 1/2 inches.  Has a beautiful drop and profile and these side zip compartments are so accessible and user friendly.  Five gold tone feet to protect the base and keep the bag sitting upright.  Sits perfectly upright when empty.  I believe the suggested retail price on this bag is around $600.00 on up because of the size and all the detail.  An absolutely gorgeous one of a kind made by hand glazed leather bag that is not a trendy bag that will come and go.  The color is even throughout - any variance in color is due to shadows cast by the sun, clouds, or lighting.  The base corners have a miniscule scuffing - this is the way they came from Marino Orlandi and has occurred from the bag just setting-although these bags have the 5 gold tone feet to protect the base, the way they are made is that the four base corners set lower than the feet, thus allowing for some miniscule rubbing.   It is worth miniscule scuff marks on the base corners to have this beautifully finished off base.  Remember these bags are made by hand, not by machine.  Be sure to check out my guides on Marino Orlandi and how to care for your treated leathers and other guides you may find of interest.  Yes votes and suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
