I'm downsizing and getting rid of my collection of Nancy Drew Mystery books that I had started collecting as a child. I have tried to include the different types of things that I think will matter to collectors. Some of the things I have mentioned below will be acceptable to some collectors and not to others, so I tried to cover everything I could think of.
These Nancy Drew Mysteries by Carolyn Keene and published by Grosset & Dunlap are hardcover with yellow binders except #51, which is a little more white tinged. I have collected all of these similar looking books #1 through #54 except #47 is missing and #35 has a slim yellow border on the top of the front cover (some of the editions were made this way, I just got this one by mistake and hadn't replaced it yet.) All of the books have dark blue or black topped pages. (I'm not sure which color it is but they're all the same.) Most are in very good condition with slight wear to the corners of the covers. Books #4, #6,and #48 show a little more wear than the others, #30 has some light spots on the back, and #37 someone put checkmarks by almost all of the books on the back cover.
The pages of all the books are all present and do not have any tears or rips and only #16 has some slight bending of a few corners. The following books are free of internal marks: #1, #2, #3, #5, #37, #40, #51, and #52. All of the rest have their previous owners' names and/or whatever else I've listed here marked in them: #4 also has an inscription and tape mark (from a home library), #6 also has a tape mark (from a home library), #10 also has an inscription, #22 also has an inscription, #29 inscription only, #30 inscription only, #35 also has an inscription and tape, #36 also has an inscription, #41 inscription only, #49 also has an inscription, #53 order form filled out only, #54 also has an inscription.
