Offered for auction is this very unique piece of railroad history. This is a Nashville Chattanooga & St. Louis Railroad Carafe & Stopper marked N. C. & S t. L. on the bottom edge of the stopper. Also marked on the bottom is the maker, REED & BARTON an their ID number for this piece, 4112 1/2-S. The piece is Silverplate and says Silver Soldered. The glass Water Carafe has a waunderfull looking turn of the centuary dimond design. This carafe is in great condition with no chips or cracks, some scuffs on the very bottom of the glass where it sets, no makers marks on the glass.
 The carafe with stopper in place measures 11 & 1/2" tall, 5 & 5/8" across the bottom. Please Check out all the photos. Insurance is now included in the cost of Shipping!
