This bound set of July through December 1916 National Geographics was printed during WWI. Most of the photos at that time were black and white. Because of that, the wonderful color photos and prints are unusual. Most of the articles have some photos of bases and soldiers taken in the various countries, and photos of wonderful district and national costumes still worn daily in 1916.
The six months of National Geographic are hard bound in dark green buckram. The pages are all tight. There is a small amount of shelf wear on the binding.
