Pocket TOPO makes it easier to -

• Export maps to your PDA from TOPO.
• Navagate - zoom, pan, and change level of map detail.
• Measure distances, direction, get coordinates, and build elevation profiles.
• Add notes, symbols, and routes to the map. Notes you add are synced with TOPO on you PC the next time you connect.

Connect a GPS to your PDA and Pocket TOPO will automatically update your position on a moving map and display distance and direction to your destination.

This only works with the National Geographic TOPO state series CD-ROMS which is not included in this listing. This software enables the use of the state series map onto your GPS or PDA.

System requirements: Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, or XP. 16 MB or memory, CD-ROM drive, 256 color monitor, 486 DX/66MHz PC or higher. Requires TOPO! state series CD-ROMS which are not included.

Supported handhelds - Palm devices running Palm OS 3.0 with HotSync 3.0 or higher, 8 MB or memory, Pocket PC devices running WunCE 3.0 with ActiveSync 3.0 or higher, 8 MB or memory. Supports high-resolution color displays on Palm OS v. 5.0 and Pocket PC devices.

GPS tracking requires NMEA signal on the handheld's serial port or a Garmin iQue device.
