Presenting an Unusual Purse or Tote made out of a National Geographic Magazine that has a smooth coating - the June 2003 Issue featuring "Unearthing Siberian Gold" on one side and on the back "Siberia's Scythians Masters of Gold".  Inside there are more photos and articles. 

The tote closes with Velcro and has a tag inside that says "The News, Los Angeles".  The two 1/4" straps are strung through 4 grommets on the top and the straps measure 26" long each and hang 11" from the top of the bag. The bag itself measures 6 5/8" wide x 9 3/4" tall x 2 1/4" wide.  The sides also are covered with a design as is the bottom with a map of New Delhi.  The condition is excellent - it looks like it has never been used.
