Ingredients used to make this soap: Plant oils & butters, sodium hydroxide (lye), water, natural plant coloring, and fragrance.
Remember, all the lye is used up in the chemical reaction that makes the soap, so this soap is safe!
(Tip: Keep your soap dry and well drained when not in use. Keeping it dry will make the soap last longer.)

YOUR SKIN PROBLEMS COULD BE CAUSED BY THE USE OF DETERGENTS! YOU SAY YOU DON’T USE DETERGENTS? WELL, THEN, CHECK THE LABEL ON YOUR BARS OF "SOAP" AT HOME OR AT THE STORES. IN MOST CASES THEY DO NOT SAY "SOAP", BECAUSE LEGALLY THEY CANNOT. THEY USE "BEAUTY BAR" OR "BATH BAR" INSTEAD.
IF THIS IS THE CASE, YOU ARE MOST LIKELY USING DETERGENTS ON YOUR SKIN, NOT SOAP. At the very least, you are using soap that had the glycerine removed.
BIG COMPANY SOAP MAKERS TAKE OUT THE NATURAL GLYCERINE FORMED BY THE SOAP MAKING PROCESS AND SUBSTITUTE PETROCHEMICALS AND DETERGENTS TO MAKE THE SOAP LATHER AND CLEAN. DETERGENTS ARE COMPOUNDS OF MANY CHEMICALS TO ASSIST CLEANING. THEY MAY INCLUDE: SURFACTANTS SUCH AS SLS (CUT GREASE AND WET SURFACES), ABRASIVES (TO SCOUR), PH MODIFIERS, WATER SOFTENERS, OXIDANTS (BLEACHING), ENZYMES (TO DIGEST PROTEINS, FATS, OR CARBOHYDRATES), ETC. MANY OF THESE CHEMICALS ARE IRRITATING TO THE SKIN AT THE LEAST.

THE GLYCERINE, WHICH IS A SKIN CONDITIONER, IS SOLD SEPARATELY IN ORDER TO PRODUCE MORE MONEY.
MY HANDMADE SOAP IS JUST SOAP. I DO NOT REMOVE THE GLYCERINE.
FATS/OILS SAPONIFY (BECOME SOAP) WHEN MIXED WITH WATER AND SODIUM HYDROXIDE (LYE). THE WATER, 1 FAT AND 3 LYE MOLECULES COME APART AND RECOMBINE INTO 3 FATTY-ACID-SALT (OR SOAP) AND 1 GLYCERINE MOLECULES, NO LYE IS LEFT OVER. I USE EXTRA OILS (SUPER FATTING) TO BE SURE ALL THE LYE IS USED UP, TO PREVENT ANY SKIN IRRITATION, AND TO BE SURE THE HEALING AND CONDITIONING PROPERTIES OF THE OILS REMAIN IN THE SOAP. I BUY THE LYE FROM A CERTIFIED COMPANY. I USE ONLY FOOD COLORING OR NATURAL SUBSTANCES TO COLOR OUR SOAPS, SUCH AS SPICES, KELP, ETC. I USE BODY SAFE FRAGRANCE OILS OR ALL-NATURAL PLANT ESSENTIAL OILS TO SCENT THE SOAPS.

Due to this new policy, repeated loss and damage to packages in my experience, and the fact that the Postal Service won't do anything about it (even one was marked "Damaged in transit by the US Postal Service" and they still would not take care of it!) unless insurance is purchased, I am forced to insure every package I send, and therefore my shipping costs have risen. I do not charge extra for shipping, only what I have to pay to send the packages.

AVAILABLE WAX TYPES:
CRYSTAL PALM-crystalline finish natural palm wax (like starbursts)
FEATHER PALM- feathery finish natural palm wax
SOY-smooth finish natural soy wax
All of our candles are hand poured, (almost all are natural wax, unless noted otherwise) with plenty of scent and vivid colors. We use only lead-free wicks. If there is a wire in the wick, it will be zinc, which is non-toxic when burned. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our products the colors may vary.
Tip - Add ½ teaspoon of water in the bottom of your votive holder before burning votives. This will make it easy to remove any remaining wax once the candle has burned out and cooled.
