!! "The Cliff Dwellers" !!
Navajo silversmith, Michael Chavez, is the artist who has created this museum quality ring. It was made to go with the "Cliff Dwellers" Cuff and one other larger ring that is currently listed in our auctions.

Michael always impresses me but these pieces are over the top, genuine inspiration and artistic endeavor. Michael has carved into the "once only" tufa stone the image of a prehistoric village of the Cliff Dwelling people or Anasazi. It reminds me so much of going to Colorado to Mesa Verde National Park and climbing through the ruins. He has used a beautiful Turquoise Mountain stone that is from the same cutting for the cuff and ladies ring in this set. The beautiful stone is set atop the "cliff houses" which form the base for the ring. The sides also have a tufa rough background with an applied ladder on one side, cutout windows and doors. Michael has created a unique depiction of the cliff houses of the ancient Anasazi and has breathed life into it with his artistic vision. The ring face measures approximately 2" by 1 5/8", it is a size 11 1/4 and weighs 76.8 grams of sterling and stone. It is large, it is heavy, it is genius and museum quality! It is an absolute blue ribbon winner in my book!
