Navajo husband and wife team, Mike and Evelyn Platero have a waiting list for these pieces. I have waited a long time to be able to get my hands on some and now they are here. There is one pendant, one ring, one pair of post earrings and one pair of dangle earrings. The Platero's are great at what they do and Mike is an amazing silversmith. Evelyn's patience and perfection in cutting and shaping the stones is well know in the Native Arts community. When you have been raised in a family that makes traditional silver, you will always make your pieces heavy, beautiful and with really good stones, just in case you have to pawn them. Mike and Evelyn both know this and strive to always make the best pieces of jewelry with really good stones.

!! Morenci Turquoise & Coral Cluster Ring !!
This Cluster Ring is done with Morenci Turquoise and beautiful Coral cabs. The Morenci stone is flecked with Pyrite and is a deep Oceanic Blue. The Coral is Arterial Blood, slightly orange. There are a total of seventeen stones, one Morenci and sixteen Coral. The silver work is self explanitory traditional work, plain bezel settings with rope work and sterling drops as accents. The shank is large half round tri split. The ring measure approximately 1 3/4" irregular triangle, the center stone measures approximately 7/8" by 5/8" irregular triangle, the coral stones measure approximately 3/16" by 1/8", it is a size 8 1/4 and it weighs 21.2 grams of sterling and stone. A wonderful Platero piece of jewelry! Don't forget to look at the matching pieces to this one!
