Ebay's new "search experience" called Best Match now decides for buyers what you will and won't see when you're perusing Native American jewelry. Ebay has decided that you would rather see cheap, mass produced jewelry (much of it foreign made and misrepresented as Native American) rather than high quality and/or unique items and intentionally disadvantages the very best items (if you use the Best Match search) by generally hiding the best items in the bottom half of the search pages so that you'll probably never see them. If you want to see the best quality Native American jewelry or any other category of item the way you used to, then you must customize you search setting to "Ending Soonest" which used to be the default search setting before ebay introduced "Best Match." "Best Match" definitely isn't best if you're a collector or a discerning buyer who prefers quality over junk. If you need help to change your default search setting from Best Match to Ending Soonest, contact ebay and they'll help you. I've sold out of the ultra rare Royston ribbon large solitaire bracelets many times in the last three years, and this immensely popular, lighter colored stone is now so hard to find (and a lot more expensive to boot) that always takes several weeks to get the really nice quality stones back in stock. They're so popular, I think, because the stone colors compliment fall and winter earthtones so although they're certainly great all year round. One look tells you why it's called Boulder or Royston Ribbon turquoise. Intense robin's egg blue 'pools' and 'ribbons' of turquoise run through the beach sand colored limonite (host rock) stones that display a dark turquoise almost gray and molasses brown matrix. NECKLACE: The fashionable Y necklace features six beautifully matched Boulder / Royston Ribbon stones -- two triangular stones at top on both sides followed by two elongated egg shaped stones. The two stone drop pendant features both shapes. All six stones are mounted in custom made hand stamped scalloped sterling silver bezels featurng two clusters of three hand stamped sunburst bead overlays and hand stamped miniatire suns and sun rays nested inside the bezels' scallops. Sterling silver twisted ropew overlays surround every stone in this magnificent set. Every matched stone in this set averages about 1" in length by ½" to ¾" in width, and the bezels all match as described in the above paragraph. Laid end to end the necklace is 21½" long and with the two pendant stones adding another 4" to the necklace's total length. The link chain and circle clasp are sterling silver, and the backs of each bezel are solid sterling silver. BRACELET: The bracelet features another triangular Boulder stone with small riboons and pools of bright robin's egg turquoise and a dark turquoise gray and caramel brown matrix. This bracelet is 1½" wide in the center, and its sturdy four wire bracelet frame tapers to 3/8ths" at both terminals. It has an inside measurement of 5 and 5/8ths," and a carefully adjustable opening gap of 1 and 1/8th" making it appropriate for wrists that are 6¾" to 7" in circumference with little or no careful adjustment of the shanks and/or terminals. EARRINGS: The dangle earrings for pierced ears feature two teardrop or seed shaped stones both set in matchong sterling silver bezels. Including the sterling silver French wires, the have a total length of 2 and 1/16th." RING: The size 8 ring features a matching triangular stone and an uncommon sextyple split shanks narrows into three separate wires with a minimum width of 1/8th" so a jeweler can easily size it up or down as much as one full size.
