Neat Old Fruit Needlepoint Still Life in Antique Frame

I found this old framed wool needlepoint still life in an obscure antiques store in Central Texas. Nice needlework. Exposed part of canvas is 12 x 14, but as you can see from photos, is much larger and folded up on back. Frame is very old. It is painted black with a pretty goldleaf tolepainting on it. Frame, which measures 14.75 x 16.75 x 2 inches is chipped and scratched.  Someone crudely nailed the canvas to the frame. It had paper backing at one time, because you can see remnants of the paper around several of the nailheads. It may have had a glass on it originally, I don't know. There is no glass now.

CONDITION: Needlepoint has some moth holes (I have circled the damage in photo 5. There is enough thread tucked under on the back side that could be removed to repair the moth eaten areas. Also, the tapestry could benefit from a professional cleaning. I have already mentioned the damage to the frame.
