Nebraska Boiler
Up for auction is a 1992 Nebraska Model NS-E-63 Boiler, Serial #D-2937. This is a watertube boiler, rated at 70,000 pounds per hour steam, with a 200psi design pressure. It was installed and used for the 1993-2001 heating seasons for supplemental capacity (they had three other boilers). The boiler was used from October thru March of these eight years, and was laid up and maintained during the off-season. It was permanently laid up (dry) after the 2001 season, when the facility changed to "portable" natural gas heaters for their individual buildings.
The burner is a Coen LOW NOX Model 660-DAF-28. It includes the Coen BMS-2000 Burner Management System. It is set up for Natural Gas or #2 Fuel Oil, and includes two oil guns.
It comes complete with all the valves, gas train, and yellow access platforms and safety railings seen in the photos. We also have all the original documentation and blueprints.
The boiler has been deinstalled, and is ready to ship. It has been left in the building to protect it from the weather, so it will take a couple of days to remove the wall for access to load. The price includes loading it on a trailer for shipping. Rail access is also possible. We can help with trucking quotations if needed.
