This sculpture was inspired by the character from the movie “Stuart Little” I started to make a mouse and my daughter said it looked like Stuart, so that is how I finished him. 

Stuart is a one of a kind wool sculpture needle felted by me. Needle Felting is the art of interlocking wool fibers by using a special barbed needle. It takes many long hours to complete a sculpture with this dry felting technique. He is 100% hand made, no patterns or machines involved. Stuart is very firmly felted in wool, even his little shoes. His tail has a wire armature so you can use it to help him stand. He is about 7 1/2 inches tall. This wonderful mouse is an art sculpture and is not suitable for small children.
