This sale is for a CD (free) or a Smartmedia card (must be supplied by buyer or buyer pays current price for a new Smartmedia card) with all of the current software, along with the license unlock number for the software purchased.
The new effect collection 3D-Shapes Professional for Casablanca Avio, Prestige and Kron contains (as its name suggests) high quality-3D effects.
The pack provides 14 individual effects.
With the 12 transition and 2 image processing effects, it's possible to create either three-dimensional transitions between two scenes or to transform the entire scene into a 3D object with anti-aliasing and absolutely smooth animations.
The quality of these 3D-effects is truly professional. To make this kind of quality possible, it was necessary to use extremely complex programming techniques resulting in somewhat longer rendering times
Below is a list of each individual effect, followed by its various options in (parenthesis) .
- ZI Drop 1 - Circles develop from the screen center and spread in waves towards the screen's brim. (Ripple Size, Distortion)
- ZI Ripple 1 - This effect makes waves glide over the scene's surface and creates the impression that the scene is being mirrored on a watery surface. (Direction, Cycles, Ripple Size, Distortion )
- ZI Diamond - The first scene transforms into a diamond and rotates out of the screen in the direction set by the user. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Ellipsoid - The first scene transforms into a diamond and rotates out of the screen (to unravel the second scene beneath) in the direction set by the user. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI RectTube The first scene is folded into a box and leaves the screen in the defined direction. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Cone - The first scene transforms into a cone and rotates out of the screen in the direction defined by the user. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Drop 2 - The second scene "grows" out of the center of the first scene. The first scene then fades in the form of waves. (Ripple Size, Distortion)
- ZI Sphere - The first scene transforms itself into a sphere, rotates and then leaves the screen. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Sphere - The scene is split into four parts. The four parts transform into smaller spheres and disappear in the four corners of the screen. (Rotations)
- ZI Pyramid - The first scene is folded to a pyramid object, rotating and moving out of the screen. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Saucer - The scene turns into a UFO type saucer, rotates and leaves the screen to reveal the second scene. (Direction, Rotations)
- ZI Ripple 2 - The first scene is faded, appearing as if it had been placed on a waved, watery surface. The scene slowly dissolves and reveals the second scene. (Direction, Cycles, Ripple Size, Distortion)
- ZI Cube - The scene "folds" itself into a cube, rotates and leaves the screen. (Direction, Rotations )
- ZI Cylinder - The first scene leaves the screen in the form of a cylinder. (Direction, Rotations)

CB Paint, developed by TV-Paint, a renowned French developer, is a full-blown Casablanca graphics/moving video editing package that interfaces with the Casablanca SMART EDIT system. You can import and export video scenes and stills and use the sheer power of CB Paint to create animations, effects of any kind and text titles that are unlimited in look, design and movement – even in 3D.
CBPaint is sold either with a professional grade, touch sensitive Wacom Intuous graphics tablet (essential to maximize the capabilities of CP Paint) or as software only. CB Paint is also included with the purchase of a New Solitaire (not included with upgrade/trade-in programs).
Note: other Wacom tablet models will not operate with CB Paint.
Object Tracer
All effects in this package have one thing in common: They `recognize´ parts of a picture (someone's head, a whole body, an object,...) and can track the movement of it (pixel tracking/motion tracking). You select an area of contrast in the scene and Object Tracer will 'follow' that object through the course of the entire scene!
The different operators allow for effects that would normally only be possible with still pictures or with plenty of tiresome detail work for each frame.
The software comes with an extensive ImagePool with many additional graphics like arrows, speech bubbles and more. This allows you to place an arrow or other object to follow a subject through the scene. Or you can use the Mosaic to mask the subject or the Spot function to highlight an individual!
QuadCam
QuadCam is a truly revolutionary multi-camera editing software package for Casablanca. The QuadCam multi-camera software for Casablanca allows the user to create a mix of 2, 3 or 4 scenes from the scene bin (for example, four cameras from a wedding or graduation ceremony).
These scenes are displayed in reduced size in a separate window and can be played back simultaneously on the TV-set or monitor. During this playback, the user can switch between them - just like a live switcher.
The Casablanca then saves the edit decisions and exports this information to the Storyboard. In the Storyboard, the first scene is used as a background scene in full length, the remaining scenes are added as "insert" scenes on top of this background scene. Adding extra effects such as fades can be accomplished as usual with the aid of the Casablanca's editing functions.
In addition to this powerful software, QuadCam comes with a revolutionary method to generate time-synchronous video material from 2 to 4 camcorders. DV camcorders usually do not have timecode input, but MacroSystem has invented a new method that allows for perfect "syncing" without time-code, start claps or other methods. This makes QuadCam much easier and faster than any other solution on the market.
