MODEL COMPATIBILITY
These key parts are compatible with ALL generations of 12'' "aluminium" PowerBook G4
(1.0 GHz, 1.33GHz, 1.5GHz ). These models were shipped between Jan. 2003 and
May 2006 (Sell dates may be a little later.). Confirmed compatible laptop model numbers
(written on the back of the laptops) include A1010 and A1104.
These key parts work with both back-lit and (older version) non-back-lit keyboards
(They will not turn a keyboard without back-lighting into one with it.).
The Green Ring Issue
12'' Powerbook laptops were made with two types of scissor hinge mechanisms. We only have
parts for one of these types of scissor hinge mechanisms. We
do NOT have parts for keyboards with a "green ring" painted on the keyboard base
around the rubber, nipple-shaped spring under each position's key-cap. If you do not
see green painted around the rubber nipples found under each key-cap then we DO
have the parts for your keyboard.

So many people want parts for the left "shift", "A", "S" and spacebar keys that we have to buy many
keyboards just for these 4 key positions. To keep these key parts in stock for you
we need to charge more for them:

A part set for all and each of the other key positions (including right "shift") counts as quantity 1.
