Your microscope is made by the same technicians and on the same production line as optical instruments for the world's leading optical instrument brands. While this is the same instrument you might see in a science catalog for thousands of dollars, by developing the Variscope brand, the factory is able to sell the same product directly to us for much, much less. This microscope is brand new and has never been removed from the original factory packaging. Great Features for High Quality Stereoscopic Imaging: This microscope is designed for high quality viewing of a wide range of specimens. This microscope is manufactured with an internally rotating dual 1x - 3x stereo objective made from premium ground optical glass. Two sets of stereo eyepieces are included, a wide field 10x and 20x pair of eyepieces. Used in conjunction with the included stereo eyepieces, you can achieve magnifications of 10x, 20x, 30x & 60x right out of the box. Ultra-Comfort Ergonomic Microscope Design: This stereo microscope has ergonomic features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible. The main microscope head sits at a comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for maximum flexibility in adjusting the interpupillary distance. The left eyepiece holder includes an independently controlled diopter focusing adjustment, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing knob is on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. Change from 10x to 30x magnification simply by rotating the objective turret. Built-In Dual Halogen Light Source: Don't get stuck with a tungsten light bulb. This microscope comes with a built-in upper and lower light source. You can toggle either the upper or lower light to illuminate both transparent and opaque specimens. Spare halogen bulbs are included with your microscope. Reversible Specimen Plate, Dust Cover, and More! This microscope includes a plastic dust cover to keep your microscope in clean dust-free condition. The microscope comes with a frosted glass specimen holder and also a reversible black & white specimen plate. Ideal for Gem & Jewelry Inspection! This microscope is ideal for inspecting and grading gemstones and jewelry. The microscope has a built-in threaded adaptor hole that allows the use of our gem and specimen tweezer clamp (part #834625). Also, our dark field condenser (part #834626) can be added to assure that any light emitted from the lower light source passes through the specimen for optimal viewing. With the dark field condenser, no light rays from the lower light source travel directly into the objective or your eye unless they pass through the specimen first. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your item to request a return authorization. We are happy to refund your entire purchase price of any item that is returned in its original packaging and in new condition, less our actual original shipping costs.
For items that are not returned with the original packaging and cartons, we do assess an additional 20% restocking fee, provided the items are received in new, re-saleable condition.

Warranty Info
We will replace or repair any microscope or accessory that arrived damaged, broken or defective at our expense if you notify us within 30 days after you receive the item.
After 30 days, for Variscope brand microscopes and accessories, except digital cameras, your item is covered by a 5 year limited warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Variscope digital microscope cameras and other electronic items are covered by a 1 year limited warranty. This warranty covers parts and labor to repair or replace defective parts. You are required to return the item at your expense for service and repair. Please contact us by e-mail for more information or to initiate a warranty claim. |
