 I am lost without self-love

I am lost without self respect

I am lost without confidence

I am lost if it is God that I reject

I am lost without my mind all together

I am lost within myself forever

My optimism gone, lost by pessimism

Scared to live life because of my skepticism

My apathy for myself is due to self hate

Continuous negativity, wondering is this fate

I am lost because I don't know who I am

I am lost because I did not have a plan

Racism, sexism, we can all relate

Our journey through slavery left us lost in a terrible state

Our fears used against us, our strengths taken away

We are lost mentally, through mental slavery today

Still locked up in chains but it is all in our minds

Divided as a people because we are living in hard times

I am lost because my people are lost, we have no unity

Fighting one another, killing each other in our own community

We are all lost because we want to be free

Unlock those mental chains, and so shall it be!
