Is there a difference between Soft Claws and Soft Paws?  Absolutely NOT!  The the nail caps are manufactured and produced IDENTICAL.  The only difference is with the packaging design.  Soft Claws are packaged to be sold through retail stores and distributors.  Soft Paws are packaged for professional sales through Vets and Groomers only.

 

What are Soft Claws?  Invented by veterinarian,  Soft Claws have been on the market since 1990.  Soft Claws are an excellent alternative to declawing. They are easy to apply at home and cats and their owners love them. They are completely safe and humane and can be used on cats of all ages.  Soft Claws are vinyl nail caps that are glued on to your cat's existing nails. They are easy to apply and cats tolerate them extremely well.

 

How are Soft Claws applied?  Soft Claws are easy to apply. Simply fill the nail cap with the adhesive provided and slide it on over your cat's claw. The glue dries very fast.  Clink on this link to view our simple Application Instructions.

 

How long do they last and how often do they need to be reapplied?  Once the nail caps are applied they remain in place for approximately 4-6 weeks. They will fall off with the natural growth of your cat's nails. We recommend that you check your cat's nails periodically because usually just one or two fall off at a time and these can be easily reapplied.

 

Note: While the vast majority of cats acclimate to the claw covers within minutes, some cats may require an adjustment period. Cat's fastidious natures sometimes causes them to groom the claw covers excessively at first. This may result in one or two falling off. No problem. Just check the claws daily at first and if one is missing, simply replace it with another from the package. Thus, the first package may not last as long as subsequent packages. Again, most cats do not even notice they are wearing them after the first 30 minutes.  A good tip is to feed your cat his or her favorite food after applying the Soft Claws. This serves as a good reward and also diverts their attention away from their new acquisition. Some people find it easier to apply the Soft Claws when their cats are sleepy.

 

 

If your cat is in between sizes, choose smaller size.

All orders include delivery confirmation to protect both the seller and buyer from false claims.  Delivery Confirmation is NOT a "tracking" service.  It provides proof to eBay and PayPal that shipments were mailed, and whether or not they were received.   Once your package is shipped, I have NO way to track it.  eBay policy states that sellers are NOT responsible for actual delivery times.  Therefore, once your package leaves my hands, it is up to the post office to deliver it in a timely manner.  Please do not put the blame on sellers for unexpected delivery delays.

Apparantly there are other eBay sellers trying to discredit my listings, so I felt the need to clarify a few things: ** 1) The ONLY difference between Soft Claws and Soft Paws is their retail packaging and the requirements set forth by the manufacturer as to whom may sell each product. Soft Paws are (supposed to be) sold through Vets and Groomers ONLY. Soft Claws can be sold through vets, groomers, distributors, and/or retail stores. As far as the contents of either brand, they are EXACTLY the same product and come from the SAME manufacturer. ** 2) PixiePets is authorized to sell BOTH Soft Claws and Soft Paws. Thus you could receive either brand name, depending on what the manufacturer ships at the time I place my orders. ** 3) I can proudly state that I was the FIRST seller to offer Soft Claws/Paws on eBay, nearly 10 years ago. It's a shame that other sellers feel they must attempt to discredit a highly reputable Soft Paws/Claws seller. My listings have NEVER stated anything derogatory towards any other seller's listings or descriptions. I will never stoop that low!
