This is a one of a kind treasure to keep for generations. Lovingly made by a local mountain woman, these beautiful items were hand sewn from two antique petticoats and a camisole. All of the items were hand-embroidered and the detail is amazing. The whole set includes the gown, a cap and a lovely bag with ribbons. The gown measures 32" long and the shoulders are 9 1/2" across. The sleeve is 4 1/2" long. I measured the cap at one side as 8". The bag's top is 8 1/2" wide and measures 13 1/2" wide at the bottom.The lace handle of the bag drops about 10" long. Plenty of room for a diaper and any other small items you need for the baby. All of the fabric is made with cotton except the ribbon is silk. This is a very special offering and is made in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. If you have any questions, please Email.
