The Collectors Guide Section pictures and describes notable Libbey wares, including some 200 pieces selected by the Toledo Museum of Art for its 1968 Libbey exhibition. In addition, there are many outstanding pieces from other museum and private collections. The broad scope covers 19th century Art Glass, Brilliant Period Cut Glass and the lesser-known but important Libbey-Nash 1933 and Modern American 1940 Series. The most comprehensive of the book’s references is Part Three, reprinting in their entirety, four Libbey catalogs, never before reproduced.
