New Forklift Distributor Flat Head Continental Engine

This electronic distributor replaces points type distributors used on many forklifts and welders that used the 4-cylinder Continental F-series flathead engine.  The shaft extension (distance from the mounting flange to bottom of the shaft collar) is approx 1-1/2” and the distributor turns counterclockwise as viewed from the rotor end.  If your distributor is mounted in the center of the cylinder head, has the same shaft extension, and turns counterclockwise, this one will work as a direct replacement.   It works with any standard 12V can type coil by simply hooking the red and black wires to the coil.  (Negative ground systems only)
