The fused glass and dichroic glass pendants that we carry, are hand made in the USA by Ben, the artist, who is located in Ohio.
Each pendant, or "Bendant" as Ben calls them is a one of a kind creation. Each Pendant is hand signed on the reverse by the artist Ben Kendall.
The "Bendants" are fine quality fused glass pendants. The glass is cut and arranged in patterns and then fired in a kiln at about 1500 degrees. The glass at that temperature then melts, and fused to create the beautiful pendants that Ben calls "Bendants". You can be assured that these are the finest quality fused glass pendants available. Only the highest quality glass and materials are used to create these fashionable works of art.
Many of the "Bendants" are created with dichroic and iridescent glass. Professional fusing techniques guarantee that you get the finest quality at an attractive price. Bails are plated in 18K Gold or sterling silver. All "Bendants" are personally signed by Ben , the artist.
The particular Pendant that is listed here, is a 1 1/4 inch circle, with a white base, with green, red, and black overlay. It has a sterling silver plated bail. It it hand signed by the artist on the reverse.
Ben's "Bendants" are sold in gift shops, boutiques, and museums across the United States.
Each "Bendant" is a unique creation. It is considered normal for fused glass to sometimes have tiny air bubbles, and slight irregularities. Some wearers of fused glass jewelry find the bubbles to be very desireable and say they give the piece even more character.
