With the provided USB cable , it is easy to back up (clone) your system to this drive and put it into your laptop. PLUS, you have a spare enclosure to put in your old HD for extra storage. (Please let me know if you do not know how to swap the HD.)

Hitachi introduces the "Super-pendicular Drive," the Travelstar 5K160 Series HTS541616J9SA00. With this drive they have merged their experience in building exceptional drives with the latest technologies to produce a 160GB drive that uses 10% less power than its industry leading predecessor.
The SATA interface and 8MB buffer provide a speedy path for your data to travel. Second generation PMR technology, a new read channel and IrMnCr read heads combine for an 11.0ms seek time.
In addition to notebook and tablet PCs this drive is great in gaming consoles and portable video players.
