New Mexico interstate highway I-10 road sign USED REAL

Another AUTHENTIC, retired sign from the sign man, this time from the southern tier of the country. With roughly 2500 miles in length, I-10 is one of the major East-West Interstates, connecting Los Angeles and Jacksonville, Florida. Along the way it runs through eight states: Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. New Mexico's portion alone accounts for just over 140 miles, from the Arizona state line to Las Cruces, just north of El Paso, Texas. This 24" sign is in nice, USED condition and lays completely flat. The sign is made of plywood (now a relic of the past in New Mexico and almost all other states) with "engineer grade" fully screened reflective sheeting. It was obtained legally from scrap.

Because there are several variables going into the shipping calculation (1. while I am on the road, the point of shipping changes depending on where I am when I receive payment, 2. different signs have different sizes and weights, 3. sometimes I get to combine more than one sign into one parcel, etc., etc.) the shipping "wizard" cannot be accurate. All my signs have been obtained WITHIN the state that posts this particular sign. Most of them have actually been on the pole, therefore been USED. In cases where my signs are UNUSED, they still originate from where they are normally posted and where they were intended for use. My unused signs are all “leftover, phased-out stock”. NONE of my signs have been “made to order” in one single location claiming to make them for various states. You get only the real deal from the sign man.
I see myself forced to make this clear because of the proliferation of signs on e-bay which are claimed to be “originals”. If you want to separate the wheat from the chaff of fakes, try to exclude certain keywords such as “new”, “street”, etc. from your search mode. You can do that by simply adding the minus sign in front of the word you want to exclude.

Concerning SHIPPING: Winning bidder pays only ACTUAL postage rounded up to the nearest dollar. I try to ship the most economical way via USPS or UPS. Since the shipping calculator on e-bay does not properly reflect shipping charges because of the item’s size, I will have to calculate each shipment once I know where it is going. Happy to combine multiple items! Also, I am frequently on the road, and will ship from wherever I am at the time your payment clears. Therefore shipping rates may vary slightly, but I will always charge what is stated in my invoice, not more. If shipping turns out to be significantly less, I will tape a refund to the back of the item.
