Own A Piece of Performing Arts History!

Three historic photographs from the collection of Leopold Busch, a first violinist with the New York Philharmonic in the 1930s-70s. Includes a big photo of the Philharmonic onstage measuring about 5x12 (irregularly trimmed - apparently he was only interested in the violin section) and two 6 1/2 x 9 . There are two 6 1/2 x 8 photos of the Philharmonic players in Budapest in 1930 during their historic tour with Arturo Toscanini. (It was this tour that firmly established American orchestras as being the equal of the older European orchestras). Also included is a program of the tour which has wonderful tipped in photos of Toscanini and the Philharmonic. (Pencil drawing on the verso, presumably by Busch who was an artist of some note) Please note that postage to US and Canada addresses is free as part of a continuing promotion in partnership with Ebay (postage costs for overseas addresses remain as usual - see below).
