Bouncin’ Babies were made by Lewis Galoob in the mid to late 1980’s. At one time, Lewis Galoob was among the ten largest toy companies in North American. They are based in California and touted an impressive line of toys including the Micro Mini cars, the Sky Dancer dolls, and our favorite … Baby Face dolls. There were many commercials that promoted the Bouncin’ Babies, and all the young girls wanted them. The dolls are about 7 inches tall, but they actually move! The dolls take 1 “AA” battery that is not included. This Crawlin’ Baby has a vinyl head and ¾ length vinyl arms and legs on a soft cloth body. She has molded and painted light brown hair and hand painted blue eyes. This set is the Walkin’ Baby and her walker and she really moves! The box states “This adorable little baby needs a Mommy like you to make her come to life! Just tilt her head, put her in her Walker, and she toddles along all by herself, just like a real baby. Walkin’ Baby is bold and curious. As her Mommy, You’ll find she’ll want to walk with you wherever you go. And remember, Walkin’ Baby is still a little baby learning to walk in her Walker. You’ll have to teach her patiently, by holding her up as she moves her legs to walk. Love her – she’ll move right into your heart.” This set comes to you new in the box from which it has never been removed.
