A recent estate find is this very special Newcomb College Art Pottery Vase. A band of carved pink flowers and draping cream and green foliage set against a slate blue glaze make this an especially pretty piece. I have not been able to identify the artist, date, or potter, so any information would be most greatly appreciated.
Dimensions: Height - 6 3/8"
Top Diamaeter - 3"
Base Diameter - 2 1/4"
Markings: 'N' inside 'C'

A third mark, which I believe is an '8'
This is a gorgeous piece of Newcomb College Pottery with beautiful colors and great form. It is in excellent condition with only very minor crazing on the interior and none whatsoever on the exterior. There is a very minor one inch 'Y' shape hairline crack on the underside of the flared rim. It is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the overall appearance in any way. But, it is there...please refer to pictures.
This is just a wonderful vase and would complement any collection.
