Description: We have for sale an extra nice antique oak mission style arts & crafts side by side bookcase drop front secretary. The bookcase has 3 wood shelves behind a glass door. There is storage area under the drop front. The drop front opens up to a writing area with pigeon holes for filing. This is well made. It is very solid and sturdy and heavy. It stands 65 inches tall by 44 inches long and 16 1/2 inche wide and weighs 139 pounds. We do not know the exact age or date it was made. We found a note that read it came from a family in Grand Saline, TX in 1855. I cannot verify this to be true. We do have more photographs that we can email if you are interested.
