This Rainbow vacuum is in excellent mechanical condition and runs as good as the day it was manufactured. Even though this Rainbow vacuum ran perfect and did not need it, before we sell any Rainbow Vacuum, we have our service department completely go through it and give it a 30-point inspection and service, rebuild the entire vacuum, and professionally clean it. So it qualifies for our 5 year warranty and runs for many years to come even though it did not need it we have completely rebuilt it with all new bearings, seals, motor brushes and many new parts. Rainbow vacuums are really good because of their power and durability. You will never have to buy bags for them and they filter with water. Very Nice Eseries vacuum that looks and runs great! As you can see from the pictures it looks hardly used at all. The crevice, duster and upholstry tool are all brand new. It also comes with 2 new belts, 2 smell good frangrances, and a bottle of wood floor wash. This will come exactly as pictured.
Powerful suction motor. This is the newer model that has the trigger on the hose. The hose has a pistol grip area where you put your hand when you are vacuuming. To make the vacuum brush roll turn you just hold down the trigger. This is a great feature and is very easy to do. This makes it very easy to go from carpet to hardwood (all you have to do is let go of the switch and your brush roll stops). Its also a great safety feature and will allow you to not accidentally burn up your carpet.
Tools include duster brush, crevice tool, upholstery tool, floor tool, hose with trigger, extra hose, tool caddy, main long wand, short straight wand, curved wand and curved wand with valve. It has a two-quart water bowl and will also come with two scents.
This is not the kind that has the 2 speed switch. Besides the two speed switch their is not much difference except a hefty price tag. The problem with the 2 speed one is it has a very technical motor (totally different that the other rainbows) and only rainbow shops can work on them and not standard service centers (like us). You have to have special equipment to work on them or the motor will fry. So as you know Rainbow repair shops are usually about double as a service center. So when you motor needs repair years down the road you are going to have to pay a lot. Unless you really need that 2 speed switch I would go with the standard E2 Rainbow.

CONSUMER ALERT
Do not buy a rainbow on Ebay that does not show a picture of its bottom end! Rainbow SE's and D4's have now reached the age where bottom bearings will start going out. In fact we have noticed that about 80% of them need replaced. We now rebuild all Rainbows (even if they run perfect) that we sell (and put a 5 year warranty on the motor). Rainbows are an awesome vacuum and one of our most popular selling vacuum. However when you use water to filter with and bearings are hot after use, guess where the moisture gets attracted to? As a result lower bearings, seals, flanges can rust and seize and go out. If you decide to buy a cheap rainbow on ebay that has not had its bottom end rebuilt most likely when the bearings go out you are going to be charged 150 to 200 dollars to get it repaired locally. The reason that most sellers dont rebuild them is because it is expensive and most dont know how to do it correctly. It is technically difficult to do it right and we have a lot of experience rebuilding rainbows (we have rebuilt over 5000 rainbows as of 9/09) We want you to have a great rainbows with no problems for years to come so when we go through the bottom end we put brand new seals, gaskets and lower bearing. If needed we also replace any worn fans and flanges. We also take the vacuum apart and clean and sanitize the parts of the vacuum While its apart we check out the motor (and replace any worn motor brushes and other important parts). Most other sellers simply clean the outside of the machine and wont show you a picture of the bottom end because of rust their and say Nice Rainbow runs great. In conclusion I would suggest to buy a vacuum from a legitimate vacuum service center. One who offers warranties and properly rebuilds their rainbow vacuums.
