Hi Everyone!
Here is a nice Icom model IC-725 HF Transceiver. Here is some information about this which I found on the web:
_________
"The ICOM IC-725 covers all 9 ham bands for TX 160 to 10 meters. There is a sensitive 500 kHz to 30 MHz general coverage receiver built in. Power is 10 to 100 watts SSB/CW. The 725 is ideal for base, portable or mobile operation. It features dual digital VFOs, all-mode squelch, built-in 10 dB pre-amp, a 20 dB attenuator. Enjoy 26 memories and 3 types of scanning. This radio requires 13.8 VDC at 20 amps. (Courtesy of Universal Radio Inc.)

As seen in the photo, the particular unit which I have here is in good physical condition, with just a few case scratches. There are no dents, corrosion, nor rust which I can see. All controls operate as they should.

During Testing, I was quite impressed with the overall quietness of the receiver, and signals seemed to stand out nicely. SWBC signals sound really nice on AM on this unit.
I didn't get a microphone with this radio, so I borrowed an Icom HM-12 hand mic from a friend for transmitter testing. The transmitter audio sounds very good on a nearby receiver, and the power output looks to be normal according to the radio's own power meter on both SSB and CW.
On AM receive, the S-Meter readings looked a bit low as compared to the same signals on a couple of other receivers here, but its likely just a meter calibration issue. Personally, I didn't find it to be a problem.
Included will be a power cord, and a well-done photocopy of the operator's manual which came to me with this unit. As stated above, no Microphone is included but they are easily available.
This is a nice transceiver for someone at a good price.
Please feel free to write with questions at any time.
