A nice old sculpture or doorstop depicting a Spaniel Dog. The sculpture is made of metal with a silver plate finish and is signed "JB, 3004, Pat Appld For" which represents the Jenning Brothers Company. This is a large piece measuring 10 1/2" long x 7" high and 3" wide, it is very heavy weighing just over 4 1/2 pounds. I think it was meant to be a sculpture but because of the weight it might have been meant to be used as a doorstop. The Spaniel Dog is in very good overall condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The only thing to note is some wear to the finish on the high points, see photos.
