My grandparents bought this place about 15 years ago as a winter getaway. They lived in the north in the summer and went here during the winter months. Since my grandmother passed away, my grandfather, (bless his heart) married again and is needing to downsize.

This is a Park Model Mobile Home with One Bedroom, One bath, All new carpet and new furniture replaced in 2008 and never used. The plastic is still on the furniture. It also comes with all the appliances including washer/dryer, propane stove, and refrigerator. It has central air conditioning ( heat is usually not a problem in South Texas), but it does have propane. It includes a shed and carport. It can remain where it sets which is in a gated retirement community in Mission, Texas. The lot rent there is 150.00 per month. It can, however, be moved if you prefer. It has been kept up very well and needs no repairs at this time. Oh, and a new water heater was installed in 2007. There is a beautiful skylight in the bathroom.
It is a wonderful place for a retired couple to get away from the cold months. The community is very friendly and they have many activities for senior citizens.

UPDATE!!! AFTER MORE CONVERSATION WITH MY GRANDFATHER, HE HAS GIVEN ME MORE INFO FOR EVERYONE. THE UNIT IS A 1995 PARK MODEL THAT WAS PUT IN LEMON TREE BRAND NEW FOR THE PARK MANAGER WHO USED IT FOR 2 YEARS AND THEN MY GRANDFATHER PURCHASED IT FROM HIM. HE WANTED PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE 12 PRKS OF RECREATION WITHIN 5 MILES OF LEMON TREE. LEMON TREE ALSO HAS ACTIVITIES SCHEDULED YEAR ROUND SUCH AS QUILTMAKING, WOODWORKING, DANCES, CRAFT CLASSES AND SEMINARS AND THERE ARE PETS ALLOWED AS LONG AS THEY ARE LEASHED. THE PARK HAS PROVIDED A SPECIAL "PET AREA" FOR YOUR PET TO SOCIALIZE AND "DO THEIR DUTY".
LEMON TREE HAS SEVERAL IMMENITITES INCLUDING A COMMUNITY BUILDING, POOL, HOT TUB, AND A SHUFFLEBOARD ROOM. THERE IS ALSO A COMMUNITY LIBRARY INSIDE THE PARK. SECURITY CONSISTS OF A CHAINLINK FENCE SURROUNDING THE PARK WITH ON SITE 24HOUR SECURITY PERSONNEL. MY GRANDFATHER HAS AGREED TO PAY THE LOT RENT FOR 6 MONTHS AFTER THE PURCHASE PLUS THE TAXES ARE PAID THROUGH OCTOBER, 2010.
