Offered here is a yellow brass bell flare that has been double coated in nickel silver. This bell came with an Elkhart Conn 8D that I purchased. It is used, but in very good shape. The nickel silver plating is starting to come off where the right hand holds the horn, but other than that there is no damage or dents. Please see pictures for more details. The bell is fairly large, as you can see from the picture of it installed on my 8D. There are no markings on this bell, but the last owner says that it is either an Atkinson or McKracken bell. The bell has a nice long-lasting "ring" to it when you strike it with your knuckle. A very nice sounding large bell at less than half the price of a new one. Please feel free to email me any questions you might have. Buyer to pay $15 for shipping, which will include insurance. Thanks for looking and good luck!
In response to a question from another Ebay member, the bell weighs 15.2 oz, or approximately 431g.
