This Nikon speedlight is in BRAND NEW CONDITION. There are no marks or scratches on the body, the LCD screen or the reflector, and the LCD backlight works too.
The hot-shoe, swivel neck, flash head, sensors, and various buttons are all in perfect condition. The unit functions perfectly and all connection points are faultless. I would rate it 10/10 for overall condition.
It comes with the original SS-80 carry pouch and bounce cap but NO box or manual.

Designed for users of advanced Nikon SLRs and Nikon digital SLRs, the SB-80DX inherits all of the functions of the SB-28/28DX and adds some exciting innovations. The SB-80DX provides compatibility with D-TTL and 3D Multi-Sensor Balanced Fill-Flash control, and offers features such as a tilt-rotate flash head, a built-in wide flash adapter for 14mm wide-angle lens coverage, GN 38/125 (ISO 100, m/ft. at 35mm), flash coverage up to 105mm in 5mm zoom steps and an AF-Assist Illuminator. In addition, the SB-80DX enables modeling flash and wireless slave flash, and a new dedicated soft dome has been provided to create soft lighting. The Nikon SB-80DX offers photographers enhanced flash shooting flexibility for a wide range of applications.
The SB-80DX was originally released in the late 1990s as an update to the popular SB-28. It is compatible in all modes (including TTL and D-TTL) with most film SLR cameras up to the F6. This includes, but is not limited to, the F5, F6, F80, F90X, F100. It's also compatible with with the D1 and D2 series digital bodies, as well as the D100 in TTL mode. With all other Nikon bodies, this speedlight will only work in Auto (A) or manual (M) modes. This high-power speedlight is perfectly suited for film SLR cameras and a select number of digital bodies too.
