The copper foil featured in this listing is 3 Mil (.003") thick, 18" wide and 5' long. It is wound on a 3" ID core. It is brand new. This is 99.9% pure copper, 110 anneal, that is, it is "dead-soft." Superb quality - - Used in electronics, circuit boards, etc. Great to work with! 3 mil can be easily cut with scissors or a paper cutter. Scrapbooking - It stamps well with Staz-On to stamp out accessory pieces and is very effective to use in layering. Nimrod Hall Copper is of suberb quality, even if it has a stain or discoloration. It is packed and shipped to survive the Post Office or UPS mistakes. Nimrod Hall copper foil meets ASTM-B152 specifications, 110 anneal (99.9% CU Density), dead soft, and has a bare commercial finish. Foil is wound on a 3" ID Core, shrink wrapped with plastec pads to protect the edge, and shipped in a sturdy 350# test carton (unless it is shipped in USPS Flat Rate Boxes or Envelopes which are not 350# test). What is a "bare commercial finish?" It is a standard mill finish that is characterized by no additional polishing of the surface. The finish may exhibit many surface color imperfections such as dark or red, smoky streaks, annealing oxidation, and color variations from shiney bright to black. On the other hand, it might be absolutely beautiful i.e., shiny-bright. WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL OVER THIS.
