What is a Korean Flyer?
As its name implies, the "Flyer" is simply booklet (fold out) or mini poster (single sheet).
These are placed in theater or handed out promote current and future movies.
It is simply a smaller replica of the poster designed to promote the movie.
In Korea, loyalty and trust are important among consumers.
Therefore, it is common practice for production companies to produce movie flyers like this
so that Korean consumers (audience members) trust that the movie will be successful.
The movie ad has a full colour design on both sides. These are printed on slightly heavy, glossy paper.
The front with the movie poster artwork and the other side with a photo scenes, cast photo, details, etc.
Due to their size, these are easier to collect than regular posters and can either be displayed
in a file folder and scrapbook or framed. Only a few are printed, so it is hard to find and collect them.
These are a "unique" collectible for the fan of the movie or actors featured on them.
