Noble Gas Display Unit (He, Ne, Ar, Kr and Xe Samples)

This unit is an ideal way to display all five of the otherwise colourless noble gases in discharge tubes in the shape of their respective element symbols. The first picture shows the unit with all five tubes lit simultaneously. In use they light in sequence, moving down the column from helium to xenon, which avoids the overheating that can shorten the life of continuously lit helium discharge tubes. The white plastic strips visible in the two pictures of the complete unit can be removed prior to dispatch on request. Supplied with a mains adaptor, the display measures 595mm high by 140mm wide by 80mm deep and the individual element symbols are 70mm tall.
