These are vintage correct single coil Stratocaster replacement pickups that utilize Nordstrands simulated hand-wound technology. This process provides a more pleasant high end with a nice complex character, but they still have plenty of quack and punch.
Made with traditional Alnico V magnets and Heavy Formvar wire on laser cut vulcanized fibre bobbins. This Standard Wound set - based on vintage wind specs - has great clean tones, but is still full sounding. This calibrated set features a hotter bridge pickup and an RWRP (reverse wound/reverse polarity) middle pickup for hum canceling in the combo switch positions. This set includes the neck, middle and bridge pickups, black plastic covers and of course the mounting screws/springs.

Unfamiliar with Nordstrand pickups? That's not a surprise as they're a newer pickup company. Their pickups are used by many luthiers and builders.
