This listing is for a section of a North American buffalo (bison) fur-on hide.

This irregularly shaped section measures approx. 27" at longest point and is approx 9" wide(measured on skin side)
weighs 11.3 oz
Has medium length, curly light brown fur which is 1-3" in length.
There is a partial section of bare skin showing on fur side, which does show somewhat in the photo near the orange lot tag. This is typically from wear near the leg area of the buffalo.
The skin side has no holes or tears.
this is a mid grade piece of buffalo pelt which would good for the crafter who would be cutting the hide up for smaller projects and could work around the bare patch, or would be fine for a educational instructional class room as a hands on piece.
All our trimmings are from farm raised buffalo in Canada, and are from professionally tanned hides.
(Skin is very thick on buffalo pelts)
