Antique Northwood Vaseline-Opalescent Glass

~Covered Butter~

Alaska with Flower Band

Made by Northwood in 1897.

Opalescent Vaseline glass, glows under black light as in photo 1.

Excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no cloudiness, no scratching, no wear to flower band enameling.

There is wear to the gold metallic paint on the knob.(see photos)

Measures 5" tall x 6 3/4" square

4 footed.

Alaska pattern has never been reproduced.

A BEAUTIFUL, HARD TO FIND PIECE--A TRUE ANTIQUE, 112 YEARS OLD!!!
