Jordan Steckel has been living in Manhattan since the late 1940's. Many years ago he had a small foundry facility where he did all his own casting. He is very hands on artist that enjoys all the aspects of the modeling and casting process. In 1955 he created a ceramic mosaic mural for the Israel Government Tourist Office in NYC and since that time he has created hundreds of works for private collections and public commissions. He currently has studio space in Brooklyn and teaches at Pratt Institute. A complete resume is available upon request.
