On the bottom tier, the unit provides a stainless-steel warming tray for keeping plates or entrees warm, while on the top tier, the unit features two stainless-steel chafing dishes, each with a 3-3/4-quart capacity. Lift out one or both of the dishes from the included pan holder for convenient refilling in the kitchen before returning back to the buffet station. Each dish comes with a heat-resistant polycarbonate lid with a receptive spoon hole and easy-grip indented handle. The clear domed-shape lids help keep food warm while still making it possible to view contents at a glance. For added convenience, remove the pan holder and pans for access to a top-tier warming tray. Separate heat controls for the top and bottom tiers allow for independently setting the temperature--choose from low, medium, or high.
