The Greek Goddess Aphrodite steps onto the foamy waves surrounding the giant scallop, now holding a solid 25MM crystal pearl, from whence she arose from the sea. She runs her hand through her long, curling tresses as her girdle wafts delicately behind her lithe, feminine figure in the freshening breeze. Great detail is visible throughout the sculpture with minute attention paid to the scallop shell, the ocean waves and her free-flowing hair.

Aphrodite, whose name means foam-born in Greek, is the Goddess of Love, the Sea and Beauty, and is one of the 12 great Olympian Gods. She owns a magic girdle that compels anyone she wishes to desire her and her most famous lover was Ares, the God of War. The Roman names for the 2 Gods were Venus and Mars, the personification of the modern day male/female relationship.
