This bridle is made of Synthetic (Beta) Material. “BETA” is the closest thing to leather in the equine marketplace. Its soft-to-the-hand feel comes from a thick PVC coating on polyester webbing. The coating has a classic leather grain emboss pattern on the surface. It’s washable, durable, & colourful! These bridles are Mennonite crafted of the highest quality beta with stainless steel hardware. Available in Black, Brown, & Tan in stock from size 2-Pony to 6-Draft. 4-Horse size usually in stock - other sizes require extra time to be made. Custom sizing and brass hardware by special order.

How is the Nurtural Bitless BRIDLETM different from other bridles? First – it has no bit! Unlike other bitless bridles: The reinstraps are held securely under the chin by a patented Circle-X, so they stay on the fat part of the horse’s cheek for maximum turning control, and don’t twist and tangle. This changes the way the pressure is distributed throughout the bridle, and ensures that you have consistent control of the entire horse’s head. Rubber gripping on the noseband gives added contact for those naughty horses that want to fling their nose in the air to try to avoid the bridle. Lots of adjustment in the rein straps lets you attach your reins close to the horse's mouth so riding or driving feels essentially the same as using a bit - for both horse and trainer. The solid crownpiece ensures that the reinstraps do not slip and provides consistent poll pressure to slow or stop
How does the Nurtural Bitless Bridle work? Using this bridle is intuitive to both horse and rider. It is a logical next step from natural horsemanship. The Nurtural Bitless Bridle forms a cradle around the horse’s head. There is no pressure unless you pull on a rein. As you apply or release pressure on each rein, the Nurtural Bitless Bridle transfers that pressure to 4 points on the horse’s head: The nose, Under the jaw, The side of the cheek, and The Poll. To turn, close your hand with a gentle squeeze on the rein. This puts pressure on the noseband and then the Circle-X under the jaw, which in turn applies pressure to the opposite cheek and poll. (If your horse is not that well trained, you can also pull its head right around to your knee.)
To slow or stop, close your hands applying a gentle squeezing pressure on both reins. (If necessary pull harder, or put the horse into tight circles.) As with all natural horsemanship, use as little pressure as possible, but as much as necessary.
