Medium Weight 85% cotton/ 15% Lycra, 12 oz high quality 4-way stretch.


The brilliant collaboration between Melodia's flattering cuts and Phoenix Rising Artists batiked designs is a perfect marriage of line and form.      batik (bətēk`), method of decorating fabrics practiced for centuries by the natives of Indonesia. It consists of applying a design to the surface of the cloth by using melted wax. The material is then dipped in cool vegetable dye; the portions protected by the wax do not receive the dye, and when the wax is removed in hot water the previously covered areas display a light pattern on the colored ground

Please be aware that all  hand-Batiked items can have slight variations in the pattern and color. These distinctions are normal in such an elaborate and detailed creation process.
