Description

These plants are fully matured plants that are flowering or have flowered in the past.  These plants will be shipped with flower buds or spikes if available, but it is not guaranteed. Availability is subject to Mother Nature and customer demand.  Please note that plants shipped are fragile and we do not guarantee survival of buds or spikes. 

This plant is Adult sized and can flower if environmental conditions are favorable for the plant.  In some cases the plant has started its first flowering cycle.

Plant is near adult size but has not flowered yet. Plant should be adult size within 6 to 12 months.

Plant that is 50% or more of the way to adult first blooming size.  It can take between 12 to 24 months to flower depending on species and growing conditions.

This is a plant that has grown out of the Compot and is 20% or more of the way to adult first blooming size.  It can take between 12 to 36 months to flower depending on species and growing conditions.

This is a group of plants that have been removed from a flask and have been growing together in a community pot.  Normally a compot will have 20 or more very small plants although actual quantity varies. These plants have lived outside the flask for more than 2 months and are ready to travel.

Flasks

Cattleya plants unless otherwise specified are Divisions from a mother plant with 3 or more Psuedobulbs and at least 1 eye.

We ship from South Florida.  We do not maintain a retail outlet as of this time.  We only sell retail via mail order.  Pick-ups are not an option.

We now have so many plants and sizes that we have created a text catalog of plants available on eBay that is now updated from time to time with current and historical plants and PIDs. send a blank email email to ebay@royalorchidclub.com and we will automatically reply to you with instructions.  Do not use this address for customer service requests as it is a fully automated reply!

Flower photos of mericlone or meristem plants are 99% accurate as the plant is produced a laboratory environment with state-of-the-art technology and cloning equipment.

Flower photos of Hybrid plants are not very accurate as Hybrid plants produce a variety of different offspring just as people do.  We try to select the best representation of the plant we have available but it is not always correct.

When flower pictures are unavailable for a plant we use pictures of parent plants.  We try to have photos of both parents so you can estimate the flower for yourself. 

All plant pictures are of an average example of the plant we will ship to you.  Some will be larger and others will be smaller.  Please note that all plants are different and adult plants of the same type can be different based on prior environmental conditions and chemical fertilization. Purchases do not include pots or plant medium.

We do not sell or ship orchid accessories.  Pots and orchid mix can be purchased from your local garden center for less money than the Shipping and Handling fees we would have to charge to deliver to you.  Insecticide and Fungicide should be obtained from your local garden center as different areas have different problems and needs for these products.  Always ask your local Garden Center Expert for the best results.

We ship based on a pre-determined shipping schedule only. Please make sure our schedule matches your needs before you purchase our plants.  The schedule is located near the top of the auctions next to our logo. Select the link Shipping Schedule or check the opposite side of this webpage.

We do combine orders.  Make sure you do not pay for your plants or check out on eBay before you have a complete and accurate invoice with all your plants included.  If you do not comply with the eBay procedures we will not be able offer combined item discounted S&H fees to you.  eBay locks sellers out of the order once payment or the checkout process has been completed. Please do not ask or expect us to make adjustments or changes after the fact!

If you add additional plants to an already existing order to ship in the same shipping cycle, we can manually adjust the S&H fees to the reduced amount. You must ask us to do so before you make your payment.  After you make payment, the transaction is final and we can not adjust the amount.

All our plants are shipped BARE ROOT except for flasks.  Flasks are shipped as shown in sealed bottles.  If you have never ordered bare root plants, please review our plant information before you bid on our plants.  Bare Root plants are prepared prior to shipping to allow for safe passage in the mail for periods up to 15 days.  Most orders arrive within 2 to 5 days of shipping. The plant will arrive dry and in need of immediate care.

We use both  USPS and UPS as well as other carriers as needed.  Carrier selection is our choice only and not optional for customers.

We ship our plants all year long.  As long as there are no extreme weather conditions like snow storms or heat waves, the package is kept in a room temperature environment while in route to you. If your plants are left outside on a porch or in a mail box where it is cold or over heated, the plants will suffer damage.  You must decide based on your location and local weather conditions if you have any risk. We do not replace plants damaged by extreme weather conditions.  We advise all customers to send the plants to a PO Box or location where the mail is delivered indoors such as office or home where someone can immediately accept delivery.  We will hold orders if requested. Just send us mail before we ship to you!

We use EBay's automated feedback system.  When you are satisfied with our plant and it has arrived safely, simply leave us feedback and we will return it automatically within a few minutes time!  If you feel the need to leave negative or neutral feedback for us without first contact us or for something outside the scope of our offerings, we will ban you for life from our stores.  We may exercise our right to due process and file a claim with our local legal authority.  Be careful and remember you are liable for your comments.

Customer service is available for any problem you may have.  We do our best within the scope of our offerings and good faith to make every customers happy.  We are human and do make mistakes from time to time!  Rest assured that if we do make a mistake we will correct it!  Please note:  We will not be taken advantage of by scammers or put up with abusive customers.  Remember that we are people at the receiving end of your email.  You will receive the same respect you give to us.

We normally answer emails within 24 hours.  Weekends and holidays may experience longer wait times as we are on holiday and the volume of messages increase.  You can reach us either by eBay's 'contact seller' link or direct email at orchid@royalorchidclub.com. If you do not receive a reply from us within 48 hours please use the alternative contact method above. Make sure to check your eBay's 'My messages' to see if our reply is posted on eBay. 

First check the shipping schedule and insure that the package is due for delivery.  Most questions about shipping are caused by people not understanding the shipping schedule.  If your plants have not shown up by Monday following the expected delivery date then contact us so we can track down the package for you. If your ordering from Porto Rico expect a few days extra delay due to normal bad service offered by the USPS in your area.

We only accept returns within 7 days of delivery and with a valid issued RMA Number.  RMA numbers are issued by us in special cases only.  We will issue a store credit for the original purchase price of returned plants or replace at our option.  We need the plant returned to us in the original condition or an acceptable digital photo the plant to issue store credit.  We do not refund shipping and handling (S&H) fees.  If we send you replacements, expect to pay for S&H fees.  If you do not contact us within 7 days of delivery, we will not entertain any claims.  We are not responsible for plants after 7 days as the plant is not in our care.
