OFNA's current starting system is called "SHAFT START" it is a 5.6mm dog-bone style shaft/wand system.... identical to HPI, Duratrax, Hot Bodies and Thunder Tiger products... it will still be available, see it in my eBay store too!! ... This new system is called "TORQUE-START" and it uses a larger diameter hex-ball shaft/wand system at 6.0mm!!!
I ALSO HAVE THE TORQUE-START SHAFTS/WANDS FOR THIS BACKPLATE IN MY EBAY STORE, HopMeUp: ....OFNA 50631 is the longer 6.0mm x 200mm wand.... and OFNA 50632 is the shorter 6.0mm x 150mm wand !!! ...These are 6mm hex ball shafts, they work with the ..... TORQUE-START DRILL UNIT ( OFNA 50624 ) .... You can also use the current "Shaft-Start" Drill Unit ( OFNA 50000 ) OR a HPI ROTO-START unit with an ... OFNA 50638 ... adapter (see below) ....or use a cordless drill !!!!
These wands and drill units will only be interchangeable with adapters OFNA 50638 (5.6mm Shaft-Start Drill and 6.0mm Torque-Start wand) and ..... OFNA 500639 (6.0mm Torque-Start Drill and 5.6mm Shaft-Start Wand) !!!
