This flapper gown dates to the 1920’s and is fashioned of fine silk netting that is FULLY encrusted in black shimmering sequins, shines like liquid oil! Beading though the sequins with pointed oval details in front and rear, marquis shapes that run throughout. Lined fully in silk, the bottom is in ruffles of silk fringe. The silk netting of the sides has breakage and there is a large hand sized area of breakage to the sequin pattern at the side, the side netting seems to be a thinner silk netting and could be removed, some loss of the beading would happen on sides only but this would return the piece to pristine. Measures 46 inches around the bust, 44 inches at the hips, and falls a full 55 inches in length.

The items HAVE NOT been cleaned and should be cleaned prior to wearing at the discretion of the buyer. Often for proper fit, hang, and wear ability, pieces will need to be altered and/or adding a hook or snap here or there, with a seam closure or strengthening needed. Vintage clothing is most often worn previously, and if old stock, often has slight imperfections from storage, a hint of color or odor. hr>
