The New Linksman Golf 8620 OilCan Wedges are a great complement to our signature lineup of Traditional Linksman Golf wedges. These Oil Can finish wedges combine a tour-inspired sole with 8620 Carbon Steel, delivering a buttery soft feel on contact, consistent shot-making ability, and remarkable bite and control. Our wedges will allow golfers of all playing abilities to carry the “raw” Carbon Steel wedges that the professionals prefer at a tremendous value.

 

The Craftsmanship — Oil Can Finish Reduces Glare
Linksman Golf 8620 Carbon Steel OilCan Wedges are cast from a mild 8620 Carbon Steel for a proper spin and an exceptionally soft feel on contact. To create their visually appealing Oil Can finish and non-glare look, each of our 8620 OC Wedges has undergone a special heat oxide treatment process. Over time, the Oil Can finish will properly oxidize and create a light coating that will produce the spin needed and reduce any glare from the the sun. This is the same process used on Titleist Vokey wedges and Cleveland wedges expected by some of the best players on tour. The club’s darker color also makes it easier to frame the ball and square the clubhead at address.
